"I purchased this bag for a 2 week European trip - lots of getting on and off trains, busses, planes - and it worked great. Very durable, not overly heavy itself, and very roomy - enough to carry 2 weeks of casual clothes. The external pack is padded and can carry a laptop - this was a great feature and the detachable pack allowed us to carry the 2 pieces separately. I've used this on several shorter business trips since then just because it's practical, easy to transport, and looks good too."
