"I have used this duffle several times and it really holds a lot for a 1-2 week biking or hiking vacation. When fully stuffed it only weighed in at 40 pounds, well below the airlines limit of 50 pounds. I was able to get it on and off european trains without assistance. The way the carrying straps velcro together is a bit odd and uncomfortable, so I use a padded handle wrap."
