"OK, this is truly the best laptop backpack I've ever used, and I've used plenty for daily work as well as global travel. Benefits, in priority order:
1. Outstanding comfort due to the unique low position the backpack takes when worn. Ergonomic breakthrough I'd say.
2. Outstanding range of storage compartments in a very compact size that cover the full range of things I need to carry with my Tablet PC - charger, mouse, orbit speaker, mp3 player, wireless presenter, water bottle, even the very cool PrintStick portable printer (fits perfectly under the laptop in the laptop slot). I especially like the top loading zippered paper file slot, very quick to tuck in airline tickets with a modest number of paper files, and the three pockets on the outside flap.
3. VERY high quality construction, with big "push button" clasps to close the main flap, high quality zippers with nice pulls, and orange lining in the main compartment.
4. D-rings on the outer flap that make it possible to latch more stuff to the outside of the bag as conditions require - I keep my ultra compact Sony T200 camera case here for quick access.
Improvement areas (these are small things, but there is always something that could be better):
*Small mesh pocket on outer flap not tight enough, things fall out when you flip open the bag to get your laptop. I just don't use it.
*Lining in all the other compartments should be bright color instead of black, to aid visibility.
*Width of the "handle passthrough" for sliding over a rolling bag handle needs to be wider to fit some handles.
*Magnetic clasp on the left front small pocket should close more strongly to keep small heavy things from wondering away.
Bottom line, this is the most carefully thought out laptop backpack I've ever seen with a truly unique approach to increased comfort while wearing, light weight, very hiqh quality, and amazing versatility for the size.
